A NIGHT WITH EDDY MERCKX
Portfolio Partners and the Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone presented a sell-out dinner with Belgian cycling legend, Eddy Merckx, who was in Melbourne for the Herald Sun Tour on Friday 13th October 2006 at Ormond Hall.
Eddy Merckx is a national hero in Belgium who was five times winner of the Tour de France and the Giro d'Italia, and three times World Champion. Considered by many fans to be the greatest and most successful cyclist of all time, the Belgian superstar set several world records, some of which remain unsurpassed to this day.
A night with Eddy Merckx was a chance to hear Eddy Merckx be interviewed at Ormond Hall and many guests were thrilled to meet the legend and have their memorabilia signed by him.
