So you've tried Leffe Blonde... what about Leffe Tripel?
The name Tripel actually stems from part of the brewing process, in which Trappist brewers used up to three times the amount of malt than a standard brew.
According to Leffe, their Tripel has an "aromatic bouquet with a touch of lemon in the aftertaste", and it's commercial description on RateBeer says it has a "Golden colour with a sweet but strong and complex aroma".
We think it's a 'fruity, robust Abbey ale with a touch of sweet vanilla'. Try one today at Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone and tell us how you describe it.
