Aleksandris Svencis - 190cm tall tenor with a voice to match - is the Inaugural Celebrity Draught Master, who took out the title at the Belgian Beer Café Eureka, in August 2006.
The event was hosted by George Donikian and judged by Christopher Ward, from InBev, and Mark Stanley, Former Australian Draught Master.
His performance not only made the glassware vibrate - it shattered the competition, as he poured a perfect Stella Artois draught beer while singing The Drinking Song from The Student Prince.
Aleksandris Svencis defeated Chloe Adams (2nd place, The Eye, The Herald Sun) and Mike Edmonds (3rd place, The Eye, The Herald Sun).
Other entrants included Costas Kilias (Actor, Barrister, Businessman), Vincent Miller (Actor, Choreographer, Dancer, Founder of Red Stitch Actors Theatre and Creator of the Bedizen District - the New Fashion Quarter), Sally-Anne Burke (Model and Racing Personality) and Christopher Hayes (Editor of eatanddrink.com.au). Jamie, the celebrity dog famous for chasing skateboarders outside the Arts Centre, pulled out due to exhaustion, after a photo shoot with The Herald Sun.
Aleksandris also demonstrated his winning form by performing on the Channel Ten Evening News, during the weather segment and at the Inaugural Corporate Draught Master Competition, later in the day, in addition to pouring another perfect Stella Artois.
Aleksandris Svencis was thrilled by the win - and spending his day drinking free Stella Artois!
