Jazz Diva, Nina Ferro, Live at Ormond Hall
Ormond Hall will be the venue for Nina Ferro’s only performance in Melbourne, on Sunday, 15 April 2007, as she returns from London. Nina Ferro is respected as an artist of class and style. She has a warm sensuous, soulful voice, full of character, which along with her impeccable timing and stunning vocal range have done much to help her establish an international reputation.
Her wealth of experience has seen her perform at festivals and clubs throughout the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia as well as numerous national and international TV and radio appearances.
Performing regularly with the James Pearson Trio at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London, this talented singer/songwriter from Melbourne has literally taken London by storm. Supporting musicians such as David Sanborn, Chris Botti, Chick Corea, Tony Bennett, Monty Alexander, Frank McComb, Curtis Stigers, Steve Tyrell, she has also received rave reviews from the UK’s most respected music critics.

In her only Australian concert for 2007 Nina will be joined by her Melbourne family of musicians under the direction of pianist John McAll.
