“The Garden Party” 1st Jan
Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone first New Year’s Day party went down with a bang! Held in the Beer Garden, “The Garden Party” festivities were helped along by co sponsors Ra Nui Wines and JOY FM. Ra Nui's "Sexy Rexy Rose" was a hit with the crowds who were kept entertained by the cheeky JOY FM DJ's.

NYE Party at Eureka
The Belgian Beer Cafe Eureka celebrated the last day in 09 by hosting a sold out NYE party. Not phased by the Melbourne weather, punters reveled to the wee hours, drinking Belgian Beer and carving up the dance floor to pop classics.
Belgian Beer Café Wintergarden June-July
Over June and July, the Belgian Beer Café Bluestone iconic Beer Garden was converted into a winter wonderland with two large marquees, outdoor bars, festoon lights, heaters and picnic tables.
Stemming from the European tradition of bringing the indoor beer experience outdoors during the cooler months, the Wintergarden was a new concept to Melbourne. Drinkers were able to savour their favourite Belgian beers and relax in a cosy, heated environment while aroma of freshly made Belgian waffles and winter soups to keep away the winter chill.
Belgian National Day
Belgian National Day was a two day extravaganza held over the Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July.
Festivities began on Saturday with a family day held in conjunction with the Belgian Club Victoria and featured a day of Belgian chocolate, Belgian waffles, traditional Belgian Games, screenings of Tin Tin and of course Belgian beer.
The celebrations continued on Sunday at the Belgian Beer Café Eureka with Beer Experience events held throughout Sunday.
Belgian Beer Experience ( March )
In conjunction with the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival the Belgian Beer Café Eureka held its iconic Belgian Beer Experience. Held over the 18th & 19th of March this year’s event was once again a sell out success.
Punters were treated to a selection of over 80 different Belgian Beers and matching finger food.

Belgian Beer Experience ( March )
The Belgian Beer Experience 08 was part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival. The afternoon featured over 80 perfect Belgian beers, lessons on how to pour the perfect beer, trading fun beer facts and matching beerfood.
Australia Day Music and Cycling Festival (January)
Australia Day 08 was a perfect day with beers pouring freely and the sun shining down. This year’s party featured PBS FM live outdoor broadcast outdoors, live music , the Great Australian Mussel Eating Challenge and of course the “Do It Yourself” Draught Master.

Jayco Herald Sun Tour/Belgian Beer Garden enclosure (October)
The Belgian Beer Café hosted the the final days of the 2007 Jayco Herald Sun Tour. Cycling fans came down to watch the cyclists finish the event and enjoy Belgian beers and food at the Belgian Beer Café Beer Garden.
May 2007 - EURO PARTY - Celebrating the Eurovision Song Contest
Ormond Hall held a stellar Euro Party in celebration of Eurovision finals 07. The night featured dancing along to ABBA tribute band, BABBA, and cheering on the Inaugural Euro Party Song Contest entrants.
Ormond Hall looked fantastic with the flags of Europe hanging from the balcony in the main hall, where Euro Party Food was served and guests enjoyed a tasty selection of Swedish Meatballs, Hungarian Goulash, German Hot Dogs, French Vol Au Vents, Italian Pasta and Belgian Waffles.
Guests were dressed 'Euro Style' and prizes from Champagne Pol Roger, Efva Attling jewellery and Diva Scandinavia were awarded to the best dressed guests: Rosemarie Mannik and Vernon Cook, who were selected from a field of 10 finalists.
Anthony's Wise Guys, representing Spain, were the winners of the Inaugural Euro Party Song Contest and won a trip away in a Saab 9-3 Convertible with dinner and overnight accommodation at the Healesville Hotel, courtesy of Mentone Saab.
Melbourne Food & Wine Festival March 2007
The Belgian Beer Cafés Melbourne participated in this year's Melbourne Food and Wine Festival with:
Belgian Beer Café Eureka hosted the Belgian Beer Experience on Saturday 24th March. Hundreds of people came along to learn and taste about Belgium's finest beers.
The Belgian Beer Café Bluestone hosted an “Eat with your hands” barbeque on Sunday 25th March.. Belgian beer and BBQ aficionadoes were encouraged to “eat with their hands” at this grand outdoor banquet of seafood and meat from the BBQ, set up on long tables in the beer garden, while enjoying live music.
