March 2008- Belgian Beer Experience
Your passport to Belgian’s finest beers – an opportunity to taste, learn and enjoy from the experts. Included ten Belgian beer tastings from a wide range of styles and  breweries including:
Fruit Beers – Timmermans and Bellevue
Trappist Beers – Chimay, Rochefort
Strong Golden – Leffe Blonde, Duvel
Dark – Leffe Brune, Grimbergen
Beer food was included throughout your journey.

January 2008- Australia Day Music and Cycling Festival
At Melbourne's biggest beer garden, Belgian Beer Cafe Bluestone. PBS FM Live outdoor broadcast. There was live music , the Great Australian Mussel Eating Challenge, Do It Yourself Draught Master- pour your own beer the Belgian way & Cycling Events.

Live music on the big stage: Jive Crank, Shannon Bourne Band, San Lazaro, De Jah Groove

Octoner 2007 - Jayco Herald Sun Tour/Belgian Beer Garden enclosure
On the final days of the 2007 Jayco Herlad Sun Tour:
All cycling fans were welcome to meet and enjoy Belgian beer and food at the start/finish line in the Belgian Beer Garden enclosure, situated at Kings Domain St Kilda Road.

October 2007- 60s and 70s Reunion
From Keyboard, OPUS, Impulse to Reefer Cabaret
A fabulous night of dancing to the music you danced to back then
All Star 60's band "The Substitutes" play everything from The Easybeats, The Twilights, The Beatles and Stones
All your memories and sharp dance moves came flooding back.
Also super group "Spectrum" was in full flight. Compared by Aussie music icon Marcie Jones

February - August 2007 - World Draught Master Competition

In winter, to coincide with the World Draught Master Competition, the Celebrity Draught Master Competition and the Corporate Draught Master Competition are being held at the Belgian Beer Café Eureka. 

In the lead up to the final of the Corporate Draught Master Competition, monthly heats held on the last Monday of each month..  For more information, including conditions of entry, contact the Belgian Beer Café Eureka.

May 2007 - EURO PARTY - Celebrating the Eurovision Song Contest

As Eurovision finals fever swept through Melbourne, guests at Euro Party experienced the glitz, the joy and the music on Friday, 11 May 2007, at Ormond Hall, while dancing along to ABBA tribute band, BABBA, and cheering on the Inaugural Euro Party Song Contest entrants.

Ormond Hall looked fantastic with the flags of Europe hanging from the balcony in the main hall, where Euro Party Food was served and guests enjoyed a tasty selection of Swedish Meatballs, Hungarian Goulash, German Hot Dogs, French Vol Au Vents, Italian Pasta and Belgian Waffles.

Guests were dressed 'Euro Style' and prizes from Champagne Pol Roger, Efva Attling jewellery and Diva Scandinavia were awarded to the best dressed guests: Rosemarie Mannik and Vernon Cook, who were selected from a field of 10 finalists.   

Anthony's Wise Guys, representing Spain, were the winners of the Inaugural Euro Party Song Contest and won a trip away in a Saab 9-3 Convertible with dinner and overnight accommodation at the Healesville Hotel, courtesy of Mentone Saab.

March 2007
The Belgian Beer Cafés Melbourne participated in this year's Melbourne Food and Wine Festival with:

Belgian Beer Experience, Belgian Beer Café Eureka. - 12:00pm - 6:00pm, 24 March 2007. At this BeerFun event, hundreds of people learned about Belgium's finest beers, taking advantage of the opportunity to taste and enjoy Belgian beers and learn about them from the experts.

Eat with Your Hands at the BeerFun BBQ Feast, Belgian Beer Café Bluestone, 12:00 - 4:00pm, Sunday, 25 March 2007.  Belgian beer and BBQ aficionadoes ate with their your hands at this grand outdoor banquet of seafood and meat from the BBQ, set up on long tables in the beer garden, while enjoying live music.

26 January 2007 - Australia Day Music & Cycling Festival
The Australia Day Music & Cycling Festival, held in the beer garden and restaurant at the Belgian Beer Café Eureka, is now in its fourth year. The event featured:

  • All Day Barbecue
  • Do It Yourself Draught Master
  • The Great Australian Mussel Eating Challenge
  • Cycling Giveaways
  • Live Music

31 December 2006 - NYE
1,000 people welcomed 007 at the first ever NYE Party in Melbourne's biggest and liveliest beer garden at the Belgian Beer Café Bluestone. The partygoers were entertained by Eugene Hamilton and his band, the Money, plus a DJ, and enjoyed Belgian draught beer, wine, basic spirits, as well as food from the BBQ and oyster bar. This year, we will be throwing another party. Get ready for a fun night to welcome 2008.
